It Adds Another Layer To The Supernatural

The upcoming spinoff centers on the group that keeps track of supernatural creatures around the globe, whether they are vampires, witches, or other types that viewers haven’t met yet. The Talamasca has been mentioned in the already established AMC shows, with ties to Daniel Molloy (Eric Bogosian). He is the titular interviewer in Interview with the Vampire.

The Talamasca adaptation has already cast its main roles, with Nicholas Denton playing the lead protagonist Guy Anatole. What Is AMC’s New Anne Rice Immortal Universe Show About? The Talamasca Explained

AMC is launching its third show in Anne Rice’s Immortal Universe, this one about a secret society named the Talamasca, a huge part of the books.

The Talamasca has a rich history in the Anne Rice novels, with the big question of what makes the shadowy operatives come out into the light now. There has been speculation that Interview with the Vampire season 3 will also be out sometime this year, although no date has been confirmed. Based on the teaser, however, the suggestion is that these hidden figures could be even more dangerous than the often dark foes that they monitor. That will be a significant shift to the franchise, potentially connecting all three shows more firmly.

The Talamasca has been filming since late 2024, with the attention now turning to building up to the show’s premiere. More will be revealed about the spinoff and its significance deeper into the new year. But for now, the implication is that the organization should be feared. Considering how they are dealing with vampires and witches, and who knows what else, that says a lot.
