Warning: Contains SPOILERS for Found season 2, episode 17.Found season 2, episode 17 aired Thursday, April 3 on NBC and answered one of the show’s biggest questions. It’s been evident that Sir isn’t working alone, but the identity of his accomplice has remained a mystery. “Missing While Manipulated” reveals that Trent’s now ex-girlfriend, Heather, is actually Sir’s sister, Lena. This explains her resolve to represent him and how Sir has been able to be in multiple places at once.
In an interview with ScreenRant, Mark-Paul Gosselaar, who also directed “Missing While Manipulated,” addresses that ending. While Found is full of surprising twists, it appears that Margaret has hit the nail on the head with her assessment. Gosselaar confirms that it’s safe to take the lead investigator at her word and conclude that Heather is Sir’s accomplice. Read his full response below:
ScreenRant: Margaret has concluded that Heather is actually Sir’s sister. Do we take her at her word, or is there still more mystery to uncover there?
Mark-Paul Gosselaar: No, I think that’s pretty much her word. The episode ends where Gabi is in the control room of M&A, and she’s looking at Heather. Yeah, we take that as word that she’s Sir’s accomplice, Sir’s sister.
So it’s confirmed that if she is his sister, then she is his accomplice?
Mark-Paul Gosselaar: I think so. We’ve always said that there’s someone close to Sir that has been able to help him, and I think we can make that connection.
