Superman & Lois Star Michael Cudlitz Reveals Brainiac Plans Scrapped Due To Series’ Cancellation

Lex Luthor star Michael Cudlitz reveals Superman & Lois would have introduced Brainiac had the DC series continued past season 4.

In an interview with ScreenRant‘s Joe Deckelmeier at the “BEING SUPER WITH THE CAST OF SUPERMAN & LOIS” panel at Fan Expo Philadelphia, Lex Luthor actor Michael Cudlitz revealed that a scrapped Superman & Lois storyline “involved Brainiac.” According to Cudlitz, the Superman & Lois team were “definitely” going to explore “the world of Brainiac” in subsequent seasons before the series was canceled. ScreenRant: You guys were supposed to go a lot longer. Were there any story elements that were discussed but that the show didn’t have time to get to?

Michael Cudlitz: “From what I remember, it involved Brainiac. They were going to definitely go into the world of Brainiac.”
