The Bear season 4 release date has seemingly been confirmed by showrunner Joanna Calo, who revealed when the series will return to Hulu. The Bear season 4 will continue the story of its titular restaurant, as Carmy (Jeremy Allen White) continues trying to make the restaurant a success. So far, new seasons of the show have arrived on Hulu every June since season 1 premiered in 2022, indicating the upcoming episodes are likely to arrive in the summer. While the streaming service confirmed a summer 2025 release, an exact date hasn’t been provided by them yet.
However, speaking with Omelete during the red carpet premiere of Thunderbolts* in Los Angeles, Calo appeared to confirm that The Bear season 4 will arrive on June 15, 2025. The co-showrunner also said this upcoming season is “beautiful,” teasing more important, character-driven storylines to come. The Series Is Coming Back Around The Same Time As Usual
The Bear season 3 ended on multiple cliffhangers following the funeral dinner at Ever. The biggest of these was Carmy getting a text from Cicero (Oliver Platt) about a review for the restaurant in the Chicago Tribune, which is seemingly not satisfactory for the protagonist based on his reaction. At the same time, Sydney (Ayo Edebiri) is considering leaving the restaurant to pursue a new opportunity with Adam (Adam Shapiro) about having her own restaurant. These major events will culminate in the forthcoming episodes.

The end of The Bear season 3 saw Carmy’s restaurant in jeopardy of closing, and surprisingly, I think this plot development would be a good thing.
As for the release date itself, it’s not surprising season 4 is coming out in mid-June, considering that’s been the release window for the show since the very beginning. It means Hulu and FX are sticking to a yearly release schedule with the show, despite how busy many of the actors’ filming schedules are. Since the characters in The Bear are what makes the show stand out so much, it seems like the emotion-driven moments Calo hints at will be the driving force behind what happens next.

Since the release window matches up with previous seasons, it seems like The Bear is on track to keep going with business as usual for the upcoming episodes. With June 15, 2025 not being too far away, it won’t be long until the show’s next chapter comes into complete focus.
