The Last of Us season 2 premiere viewership beats season 1, but still falls shy of HBO’s overall record holder.

According to Variety, The Last of Us season 2 premiere saw 5.3 million viewers, a 13% increase from the season 1 premiere, though it still falls shy of HBO’s record holder, House of the Dragon.
