Wheel Of Time Season 3 Video Explains How One Power VFX Were Created For Key Action Scenes

A new behind-the-scenes video from The Wheel of Time season 3 explains how the One Power VFX were created for key action scenes in the fantasy show. The Wheel of Time season 3 contained a number of high-octane fight sequences across its eight episodes, which included many characters channeling the One Power to do battle. Some of these battles included season 3, episode 1’s fight in the White Tower between Liandrin (Kate Fleetwood) and Siuan (Sophie Okonedo), as well as Rand’s (Josha Stradowski) fight with Sammael (Cameron Jack) in season 3, episode 6.

Now, ScreenRant presents a video from Framestore detailing the VFX used to make The Wheel of Time season 3’s One Power come to life. The video shows off various scenes from across the season where characters use the One Power. It also highlights how channeling was digitally crafted in various scenes, such as Moiraine (Rosamund Pike) using Sakarnen for the first time, her fight with Lanfear (Natasha O’Keefe) in the season finale, and Rand controlling his power.
