Now, as we near December 16, the film’s release date, advance booking for the film that opened a month in advance have been seeing a highly positive trend.
As per reports, Avatar: The Way of Water has managed to sell over 4 lakh 40 thousand tickets across major multiple chains in India for its first three days. With an estimated sale of 4,41,960 tickets sold early estimates predict a high double digit opening for the film. In fact, going by the current trend predictions have pegged between Rs. 30-40 cr opening day figures for Avatar: The Way of Water.

As per this, Avatar: The Way of Water could see its opening weekend collections crossing the Rs. 100 cr mark with ease.

In fact, with positive reviews from critics in the domestic market, coupled with highly favourable feedback from international markets, it is estimated that the business of Avatar: The Way of Water will eventually emerge as the highest grossing film post the pandemic.
