Cirkus Box Office Day 6: Ranveer Singh starrer collects Rs. 2.25 cr. on Day 6; total collections at Rs. 28.20 cr.

The Ranveer Singh starrer Cirkus directed by Rohit Shetty was touted to be one of the biggest releases of 2022. In fact, the film, which came with immense anticipation and expectations attached, was supposed to end the year with a bang. However, contrary to expectations Cirkus, which started on a sluggish note, has continued to see its business remain rather low-key. In fact, continuing its less-than-expected box office collection run, the film managed to draw in a further Rs. 2.25 cr. on Day 6.

After opening at Rs. 6.25 cr, the business of Cirkus saw growth over its opening weekend with a further Rs. 6.40 cr. and Rs. 8.20 cr. coming on its first Saturday and Sunday respectively. Sadly, with less than appreciative reviews and the general disinterest among the audience the business of the film has been consistently seeing a decline. In fact, on its first Monday running, the business of Cirkus saw a drop of over 68%, while its first Tuesday saw a further 3.85% drop in business. Now on Day 6 the business of the film has declined further registering a 10% decrease in collections.

Currently, the total collections of Cirkus are pegged at Rs. 28.20 cr. Unfortunately, given the current scenario and the trend, the film has been seeing it is expected that Cirkus, which was to be one of the biggest money spinners of the year will now face a tough time to even reach the Rs. 50 cr. mark. Going by trade predictions, Cirkus, which has all but stopped being screened in theatres, is not expected to see much collections as the days progress.
