The Ajay Devgn starrer Drishyam 2 which hit screens in November 2022 has continued to hold strong at the box office. Also starring Tabu, Akshaye Khanna, and Shriya Saran the film has continued its box office march despite new releases hitting screens. After taking a good start, the business of Drishyam 2 has managed to remain more or less stable. Now on its seventh weekend running the film has managed to draw in Rs. 4.31 cr. more.
As per reports, on its seventh weekend running Drishyam 2 draw in Rs. 0.82 cr. on Friday, with Saturday and Sunday seeing an increase with Rs. 1.34 cr, and Rs. 2.15 cr. coming in respectively. If that was not enough, when compared to the total collections of other 2022 releases, Drishyam 2 emerges as the third highest non-dubbed Hindi release of the year, coming in close behind the Ranbir Kapor starrer Brahmastra that had collected Rs. 257.44 cr, and The Kashmir Files which had collected Rs. 252.90 cr.
Currently, with no other Hindi release working in theatres, Drishyam 2 has a clear run till the next Bollywood release in the form of the Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathaan. In fact, trade opines that the overall business of Drishyam 2 will see further increase.
