Jason Statham‘s new action thriller gets a new update, confirming the joining of four new cast members as filming begins. After finding success with The Beekeeper in early 2024, Statham has several action movies on the horizon, including one that was announced last year as taking place on a remote Scottish island.
Deadline now reveals more details about this untitled Statham action thriller set in Scotland, reporting that the movie will be directed by Ric Roman Waugh (Greenland) and that production has now begun in the UK and Ireland. Four actors have joined Statham in the action flick, including Bill Nighy, Bodhi Rae Breathnach, Naomi Ackie, and Daniel Mays. The report also includes some early plot details, noting that Statham will play a character who finds himself pulled back towards the ghosts of a violent past.
