Marvel’s Daredevil: Born Again isn’t as well received by critics as Netflix’s previous three seasons of Daredevil, but the MCU show is a hit with general audiences. Daredevil: Born Again directly continues Netflix’s Daredevil season 3, with the return of an enraged Bullseye and an even more ambitious Wilson Fisk. Daredevil: Born Again doesn’t make any canon changes to the story established in the previous series, but it does make some bold decisions that may prove divisive with fans and critics.
Right after its two-episode premiere, Daredevil: Born Again receives a critics’ score of 82% on Rotten Tomatoes. While high, Daredevil: Born Again‘s Tomatometer is lower than all three seasons of Netflix’s Daredevil. On the flip side, Daredevil: Born Again‘s audience score is considerably higher than its predecessor’s three seasons, with a Popcornmeter of 95%. Of course, both scores are bound to fluctuate as new reviews arrive.
