Disney+‘s new K-drama proceeds with filming despite its Queen of Tears star being the subject of massive controversy, with no release date revealed. Allegations have begun circulating that the K-drama series actor Kim Soo-hyun was in a relationship with actor Kim Sae-ron when he was an adult, and she was a minor. His agency has denied these allegations, even threatening legal action “against the spread of false information.” Unfortunately, Kim Sae-ron tragically committed suicide on February 16, 2025, leaving only her family to vouch for the alleged relationship truly happening.

According to Korean news outlet Hankook Ilbo (via The Korea Times), Disney+’s upcoming K-drama, Knock-Off, starring Kim Soo-Hyun, will continue filming despite the allegations surrounding its star. As of writing, there is no exact schedule as to when filming will continue, nor a release date for the upcoming show. However, the series is set to continue production in light of these accusations, even though it’s not yet known when they’ll be happening.
