France’s President Says He Will “Fight Hard” To Bring Emily In Paris Back To France After Rome Move
This article covers a developing story. Continue to check back with us as we will be adding more information as it becomes available.
A new Emily in Paris season 5 casting update has confirmed one star will return as a series regular, after being in a recurring role throughout season 4. Emily in Paris season 4 ended by revealing Emily (Lily Collins) is relocating to Rome, both for her work and because of her new relationship with Marcello (Eugenio Franceschini). While this seemingly ended her budding romance with Gabriel (Lucas Bravo), he was given encouragement by Alfie (Lucien Laviscount) to go to Italy in order to pursue his heart.
Now, Deadline has confirmed that Lucien Laviscount will be returning as Alfie in a series regular capacity during Emily in Paris season 5. This will be the first time the star has been a series regular on the show since season 3, having recurred as the Emily’s secondary – and sometimes tertiary – love interest in seasons 2 and 4. His re-upping to main cast status means he’ll have a major part to play in the main character’s Rome storyline, either as a love interest or within Antoine’s (William Abadie) business.
More to come…
