Even while busy bringing the mainline show to a close, Eric Kripke has an exciting update on Gen V season 2’s post-production. Developed by Kripke, Evan Goldberg and Craig Rosenberg, the show serves as a spinoff of Prime Video’s The Boys adaptation, exploring a group of students at the Supes college, Godolkin University School of Crimefighting, as they uncover corruption that could affect all Supes. Having garnered widespread acclaim, Gen V season 2 was announced shortly after season 1’s premiere, with an intended 2025 premiere date.
With filming having wrapped in October, Kripke took to his Twitter to share an update on Gen V season 2’s progress. The Boys creator and franchise boss confirmed that “episodes are done editing” and are in the midst of “music, sound & VFX” editing now, while also promising that it will be “better than season 1“.
