For Raghav M Jairath, directing Taskaree: The Smuggler’s Internet, a thriller set on the earth of customs officers, was not about sensationalising crime. Neither was it about simplifying smuggling right into a binary of excellent versus evil. “It’s a collision of each crime and systemic failure.
