The future of Bosch: Legacy gets an intriguing tease from star and executive producer Titus Welliver. It will soon be the end of the road for Welliver as Harry Bosch, at least as a main character and at least for the time being. Bosch: Legacy will be back for season 3, debuting March 27 on Prime Video, but it will be the last. Although nominally a spinoff of the original series, Bosch: Legacy directly continues the main show and brings back Honey Chandler (played by Mimi Rogers) and Maddie Bosch (Madison Lintz). Considering the adaptation’s history, Welliver is hopeful that another revival may happen someday.
Speaking with TV Insider, ahead of the final season’s debut, Welliver struck an optimistic tone about the chances of Bosch: Legacy returning. The People’s Choice Award winner pointed to how Jack Ryan, another franchise for Prime Video, is returning as a follow-up movie. In the quote below, Welliver also mentions that there had been discussions for Bosch: Legacy season 4 and reveals that it would have followed Michael Connelly’s Harry Bosch novels by centering on the main character as he volunteered to be a detective for the San Fernando Police Department:
He Has A Busy Slate, But It’s Possible
Welliver won’t completely be stepping away from Harry Bosch. He’ll reprise his role in the upcoming spinoff centered around the Renée Ballard character that’s also created by Connelly. Ballard, who runs the LAPD’s underfunded cold case division, will be played by Nikita star Maggie Q. It’s possible that if the Ballard spinoff proves popular, there may be more incentive to keep the Bosch universe going on Prime Video.
The actor has a busy slate, all the same. He’ll star alongside Harlem alum Juani Feliz for a potential Equalizer spinoff at CBS The two new characters will be introduced in The Equalizer season 5, episode 16, with the hope that they could lead their own series. Welliver has the role of play Hudson Reed, a former top CIA operative with a dark secret that’s connected to Queen Latifah’s main character He is connected to Robin McCall (Queen Latifah) through an old mentor, but that doesn’t rule out a potential Bosch return.

Amazon Is The Hope Of Action Thrillers
Reacher season 4 is confirmed. Shows like Cross, The Terminal List, and the upcoming Neagley spinoff all perform well on the platform. It is not out of the question that Bosch: Legacy will get another run, although it may not happen in the immediate future.
